Selection
Choosing GPT, Gemini, Grok, or Claude
Pick the model for the job in front of you. Keep the website able to survive a different choice next year.
Start with the task
Drafting a service page, sorting a content inventory, reviewing a screenshot, and answering a logged-in support question are different jobs. The best model is the one that is accurate enough on that job at a cost the client will keep paying.
We do not standardize on a single logo for the studio and then force every project through it.
Count the review, not just the token price
A cheaper draft that needs a full rewrite is not cheaper. A careful model that still invents a regulation is not safe.
The selection criterion is time-to-approved-page, including fact checks, not a benchmark screenshot.
Write down the exit
Prompts, evaluation notes, and source documents should live in the project, not only inside one vendor’s chat history.
If the chosen model changes price or policy, the site’s HTML should not have to be rebuilt to swap the assistant.
